The electric horn is suitable for applications where a low frequency sound is required which is distinctly different from a siren or electronic sounder. These horns are often used as an extension bell for telephone systems in factories. We also offer a relay that can be connected to a telephone line and will trigger the horn with 220 Vac when a ring is detected on the telephone line.

| Mounting | The unit should ideally be mounted in a horizontal position. In environments where water, dirt or mud may fall into the funnel of the hooter we recommend mounting the unit with the nose cone facing down. Never mount the hooter with the nose cone facing up, as dirt will collect in the funnel and cause damage to the diaphragm | |||
